What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works.

It's okay. I understand.

you are lightskyblue

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is lower than average - You don't stress out over things and don't understand people who do. Finishing projects may sometimes be a challenge, but you schedule time as you see fit and the important things all happen in the end, even if not everyone sees your grand master plan.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

Well, well, well. How did someone like you end up with the least common personality type of them all? In a group of 100 Americans, only 0.5 others would be just like you. You really are one of a kind... In fact, I do believe that that's one of the definitions for the word "FREAK."

Freak's not such a bad word to describe you actually.

You are deep, complex, secretive and extremely difficult to understand. If that doesn't scream "Freak!" I don't know what does. No-one actually knows the REAL you, do they?

You probably have deep interests in creative expression as well as issues of spirituality and human development.

You've probably even been called a "psychic" before, because of your uncanny knack to understand and "read" people without quite knowing how you do it. Don't fret. You're not actually psychic. That would make you special and you'll never accomplish that.

You're also quite possible the most emotional of them all, so don't take this all too hard. Nevertheless you most definitely have the strangest personality type and that's not necessarily a good thing.

If you want to learn more about your personality type in a slightly less negative way, check out this.

I have a belated resolution/assignment for myself... whichever. Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to read 100 books this year. Then promptly convinced Dell to do the same :) So anyone else who wants to try for reading 100 books in a year join in! AND if anyone at all has any really good books to suggest let me know and I'll add them to my list :) I'm onto book 3 so far. I think I'll do a LJ post at the end of every month with that month's reading and then at the end of the year put them all together :)

I was in the east end of town this weekend and got to see Dell! Much fun, we watched American History X (because I hadn't seen it yet, I had just bought it a little while ago and hadn't sat down to watch it until last night) which is a fine movie. Upsetting, conversation provoking and visually stunning. Then I wandered downstairs to her brother's apartment as my brother had ended up over there and I figured I'd see if he was leaving earlyish and have someone to walk with and the boys had just started V for Vendetta. Ergo I had to stay. I'd forgotten how important I really think that movie is. I for sure have to get the graphic novel sometime this year, and buy the DVD. I want to get the special edition one so I'm holding out until it drops a bit in price.

And I leave you with a quiz I nabbed from Rosie. My picture freaks me out!

You Are 42% Evil

You are evil, but you haven't yet mastered the dark side.
Fear not though - you are on your way to world domination.

You Belong in New York

You're a girl on the go, and LA's laid back lifestyle isn't really your thing.
You prefer a city that never sleeps, and people as ambitious as you are.
Cultured and street smart, you can truly appreciate everything New York has to offer.

Anyone surprised really? ;)

I'm nabbing a meme from [livejournal.com profile] willow_kat to break up the SFX fun. Also this is a good one to do as I think I'm going to overhaul my userpics soon.

Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance does it have.

And I leave you with a game taken from [livejournal.com profile] abbagirl:

Name meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] naty_

1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.

Nope, Elizabeth was just a name my parents liked. But they both chose a middle name for me after a grandmother (my mother) and a mother (my father) hence I get 2 middle names. They did the same for my brother.

2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?

Yes, but I always am adding names and I presume that somewhere along the line... you know when I'm actually having these kids, there is going to be someone else involved who will also want to be part of that discussion. But mostly I take names from books :)

3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?

I do believe that my parents thought I was going to be a boy and I was to be named Matthew. Then they thought Jack was going to be a girl so originally he was to benamed Samantha.

4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?

I don't think that I would, Elizabeth suits me just fine now.

5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?

I HATE being called Liz, hate it. I had one highschool teacher who would always call me Liz and if I wasn't paying attention I wouldn't hear him talking to me because clearly he wasn't saying my name.... which then led to him yelling at me one day "Liz, are you paying attention?!" and me yelling back "that's not my name" clearly I failed that class. I just can't be bothered with someone who can't even read the freaking attendance sheet and stick to that.

hee TV quiz http://www.cbc.ca/cgi-bin/quiz/quiz.cgi?quiz=arts_screentv I got 9/10 which surprised me, it was a tricky quiz. But my TV IQ is far too developed lol.

Speaking of I've set up to have cable, phone and internet hooked up next week. We're getting a mega tv package (on promotion, no worries Nomi) to get the CW network. Oh Veronica Mars, the things I do for some shows.

Also I love that when giving my postal code I say "V as in Vampire" or "V as in Veronica" LOL can you tell where my fandoms still lie?

I also cannot stop listening to Reefer Madness :) I'm going to have to burn it to a cd. This is the perfect time for a new music addiction since we're now just over 2 weeks away from the Slean concert and that's about time for me to stop listening to her cds on my commute to work.

Oh fun! I nabbed this from [livejournal.com profile] abbagirl; it's my past life analysis.

Your past life diagnosis:
I don't know how you feel about it, but you were female in your last earthly incarnation. You were born somewhere in the territory of modern North Canada around the year 475. Your profession was that of a artist, magician or fortune teller.
Your brief psychological profile in your past life:
Bohemian personality, mysterious, highly gifted, capable to understand ancient books. With a magician's abilities, you could have been a servant of dark forces.
The lesson that your last past life brought to your present incarnation:
Your task is to learn determination and persistency. Youd should not allow to let misfortunes take influence on your strong will.
Do you remember now?
