working working working

I'm going to be glad to get a break from my nanny jobs next week. I'll only have 1 cat sitting job and that's easy. Although next week I'm supposed to pack for back to school, that is not so easy. I still really really want to go back but now it's all uncertain. Oh and I don't think I can go back to the res I stayed at last year. It's never full but a girl I know was going to get an apartment and then midway through the summer changed her mind. So she calls up the old res and asks to apply and they said no because she'd said that she didn't want to come back in April so they wouldn't let her back now. Dumb financial move on the residences' part. They could use the extra money I'm sure. So the point of that story is that I'm stuck. I also really didn't want to bounce back and forth with these residences. Because I do like my new one a lot better. So if I left and then tried to come back next year they may say no so I'm going to try.

Do you know what I just learned. If I get a job on campus through the work study program there (which I'm planning to do as I need to work) I'm not allowed to get a bursury! This is dumb in my opinion because if I'm working, I obviously need the money more that someone who feels confident enough to do nothing all year. So shouldn't I get a fair shot at some extra money? I'm not impressed with that system.

well residence got back to me

My res got back to me but they still haven't been lots of help. I have my roomates name but I still want to actually talk to her and they didn't give me that information. GRR ARG! I'm going to have to call the res on monday. Yay long distance during the day time. I'm betting it will take at least 1/2 an hour to get a phone number for this girl.
