No spoilers in this part for Veronica Mars, just that this week was MUCH better, says me.
Also did Sugar Jones get a shoutout?
and also did Nietzsche?
Viv I think this episode was for you, seriously, which writer are you doing? ;)
First of all, OMG yay Hannah is gone. That story line... boring like woah. Functional, but just meh. I actually didn't mind that in the end Logan did end up liking her and couldn't be just a huge asshole to her. But I'm SO glad her parents shipped her off.
College... yup pretty much. At least they were honest and talking about rapes that happen, and go unsolved, on campuses. I HATE when Univesities talk about being rape free... because, no you're not, people just are discouraged from talking. My old University did say they were rape and violence free... and I know of a couple of rapes and many more attacks... so yeah. The girls were just disbelieved usually.
anyways... back to the topic at hand
Ummm Cliff, how I love him. Honestly there cannot be enough love for his character.
and Lamb, with Madison!!!!!!!!!!!!! "she's 18 it's legal" "sounds like a good campaign slogan" hee! and then the Lamb and Keith and Cliff scene... so much snark.
Oh and welcome back Snarky Veronica... also Veronica who FUCKING finally connects the mayor to the explosives with a neat little Fitzpatrick twist in there for added intrigue.
A little friendly Veronica and Logan interaction, SO much better than "love by the expresso machine" there are some lines on my favourite shows that make me cringe every time I hear them... that will be one.
("the suspense is killing Angel" from BtVS Grad. Day 1 is another one that lands like a load of bricks everytime)
Wallace, being Veronica's sidekick, nice. And bonus, he's in Herst (Hurst?) next year so he's probably having his contract renewed I like that. I even like the possibility of Troy being there.
Oh yeah, Troy, I am SO glad I got off the VM group so I didn't see that casting spoiler, so much better as a surprise, sort of ruined by the "previouslies" when he popped up but that's okay :) and he's a little reformed, so cool.
Hmm wishlist for next year's cast:
Veronica (duh)
Wallace
Logan
Mac
Weevil
Keith
Lamb
Cliff!
Dick
Beaver
Sachs
And I wouldn't mind seeing:
Jackie
Madison
assorted other 09er characters for continutity
and if they come back I shall throw something at my tv:
Duncan
Hannah
That's all for tonight folks :)
