To me, ownership vs. borrowing depends on the series. I may want to see all the extras and commentaries on a show, but not be interested in seeing the episodes more than once. Or, like anything by Joss, I might want to watch the episodes (and the extras) over and over again -- and that's ownership time. Too bad my finances make me have to decide ...
