going friends only

I've been meaning to make this journal friends only for a while, no time like the present I guess. For now all unlocked posts are remaining unlocked but anything new is going to be friends only. I know there are a couple of you who drop by here to read my journal who don't have a livejournal yourselves, you're still welcome to read here but you'll have to get a livejournal account to do so. Everyone who was on my friendslist is still there no worries.

You don't know me directly, Eliza, although it's possible that we've met in the past at a gaming or science fiction convention (assuming you attend those), but we also have a few interests in common as well. I'm a friend of thebitterguy, and a mention of you that he made in his journal some time ago, got me interested in your journal writings and all. So I friended you. :)

I've just started the conventions in the past few years but it's definitely possible that I've met you somewhere along the way, or if not maybe I'll see you this year :)

Out of curiosity, what conventions are you going to this year?

Probably Polaris and SFX in Toronto. I'm not sure yet, it'll depend on the guest lists for both.
