(no subject)

I have my bus pass back! *yay* Tom found it in his car and brought it by tonight, fabulous! That makes the rest of my week so much easier now :)

In other news it was beautiful outside today!!!!!!! I think it's supposed to cool off again by next week so I went outside for lunch and enjoyed the weather while I could. Also, I didn't sunburn which is an accomplishment for me :)

My roommates' cat now apparently likes to sleep on my bed, this is new for him, for the past 9 months he's slept under my bed in a duffle bag, perhaps he didn't appreciate me moving stuff around there because now he's all snuggled up on one of my pillows, which is adorable so I approve ;)

In fandom news. Veronica Mars was given a lower chance at being renewed than 7th Heaven has. She has sunk below the Camdens, that's a definite sign of badness.

Really? Something can be lower than the Camdens? I find that hard to believe. I know this season sucked was less than stellar, but 7th Heaven's beating it? Must be time for the apocalypse.

lol I'm just hoping they cancel VM this year so that it doesn't have the chance to go anymore downhill. I'm already disappointed with the direction it's taken, I don't need to know that's going to contine.

Now idea how something ended up lower than the Camdens... at least they're low too so everything can be cancelled ;)

You know, it's sad. I want it to be canceled too. They've taken this brilliant, smart, funny show and basically crushed its spirit with all this 'mainstreaming' nonesense. If I wanted mainstream, I be watching mainstream. I was, key word was, watching this because it was different. The CW may be the new network, but it's definitely not improved.

Exactly. And personally I think both Rob Thomas and Kristin Bell had their egos grow way too fast for the show and somewhere between them and the network the show that I loved got lost and I found I was watching One Tree Hill type of stuff which hey, I don't watch that show for a reason ;)

Veronica, Interrupted

Well ... 7th Heaven DID get renewed, after being cancelled once. And look what happened to that perennial low rated space opera, the quickly cancelled 60's show "Star Trek".

But no. Not holding out much hope. :-(

These things are true, but as I can't bring myself to watch the end of this season I hope the show isn't back next year.

I still haven't seen the last several shows. Although what I have watched isn't the best of VM, it's still way better than most of what's on TV, so I'm practially quaking in fear at what a downturn in quality must be coming.
