a very happy unbirhtday to me

So I got an unbirthday card from my mother, with a cheque, which is weird cuz she never sends me money, or even when she offeres it, I have to remind her later and look like such a greedy child saying " you said you'd give me ...." I think it's guilt money of some kind but I can't quite figure it out. I deposited the cheque anyways.... She can't buy my love, but this will pay my rent for the summer here at res. That was on Thursday, on Friday a cheque arrived from my Grandparents, so now I'm feeling very financially secure. I can afford to go pick up my contacts perscription and pay off my Visa bill entirely and, oh I don't know, buy groceries ;) My job now is to save all the money I make this summer to pay for school next year...and to find a computer...I think I'll be able to afford the type of computer that I want now. Which makes me feel kinda spoiled but I really do need a good computer not one that's so tempermental and freezes all the time and occasionally thinks that it's 2 months ago.....seriously this computer will be weird somedays when I turn it on and go back to an old desktop with the programs that were there 2 months ago on it...... I'm not such a fan of that but soon.... probably as in August soon, I'll get a new computer :)

I've got to shower so I'll be ready for the grocery bus on time..... food food food

Oh but first:
Last night Meg and I finally got around to seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show that is being put on across the street (tonight is the last night.) On our way out to the show we picked up 3 more people, Erin, Angel and DanaMarie, who wanted to see it too and we got there 45 minutes early and bought 5 of the last 6 tickets. I'm so glad we were early cuz I'd have been so dissapointed if I missed the show. Vicky and Niguel came later but they managed to get tickets cuz some of the people who had them reserved never showed up. Anyways the show was awesome! The guy who was doing Dr. Frankenfurter apparently is a transvestite, so his costumes were all his own. He did such a great job, on a par with Tim Curry really. It was so much fun to see the show live finally. Also Erin decided that for next years Hallowe'en she's doing a Rocky Horror theme (cuz we can't have drinking events really anymore because of all the younger frosh comig in next year) so everyone would dress up and then at midnight we'd watch the movie, I think it'll be a blast! Now I have to start looking out for costume stuff this summer... :)

Okay really have to get ready, the bus leaves in an hour.
