In other news I FINALLY started my Buffy Season 7 Moments icon set. I finished off making my blanks and made 15 of the icons so far. I sort of made a lot of blanks for some episodes, I'm absolutely terrible at limiting myself one per episode. C'est la vie.

Not much else to say for now...

I've been playing around with Myspace a bit lately, I finally made my profile a colour that's not the default and got some pictures up in there and in my pictures section :) I took one picture the other night that I like quite a bit but I also look EXACTLY like my mother... I've never seen the resemblance so much before... I think it's the glasses that make me look different most of the time. I got in an icon making mood today and finished off the BtVS season 4 set, they'll be uploaded this weekend. Of course in doing so I forgot to eat dinner, until 9:45... So I'm going to have the most bizarre dreams tonight I'm sure because I ate so late. On the plus side I was good and did the dishes :) So I'm not a complete flake domestically today, maybe just half a flake ;)

I'm making no sense, enough with this randomness, off to bed!

The mass of long holiday weekends are over. I'll miss having the free time but I am looking forward to some semblance of routine for a couple of weeks :)

Time for the REALLY REALLY GOOD news! Sarah Slean is playing a show in Kingston on Feb. 2nd! One month away today! Not only this but it's the same lovely church venue that she played at last time she was there and that was just the best show I've seen from her. Clearly I am going (actually, clearly I almost fell over twice when I read the news, once as I was getting out of my desk chair to run for my credit card, and again running down the hall... I have no coordination when I first wake up in the morning.) Andrea (Flare) and I have already booked our room to stay which is at a charming B&B we saw last year when we were staying at the Super 8 which smelled of dead people and was somewhat sketchy. When we saw the adorable little place we decided to stay there should there ever be another Kingston show and now we have one :) I've just been flying on that news for the past couple of days :)

Other fun news, my icon muse has surfaced! It's been forever since I just sat and played with photoshop. I put up a set of The Secret World of Og book icons and a Veronica Mars set... and currently I have a Buffy project on the go. However I now do have to cut myself off and head to sleep.

hehe it's official, I'm so vidding the finale of Veronica Mars. I haven't been bitten by the video bug in about a year.... and I have another VM vid buzzing in the back of my head....

Well I have a Serenity idea but I'm waiting for a certain song to be released before I make that one....

I now have the first 14 seconds of my video made. The next 14 are going to kill me dead. Why why why do I chose fast paced songs?

And I'm also making my icon bases to play with too :) SO much fun.

I just watched the Big Love pilot tonight (thank you amy_vic) and my but that show is going to be fun. I am now working on getting the rest of the season, and then I do believe that I'll push through them this week.

Tomorrow my brother and I are going to see 'Thank You For Smoking' which is awesome because it was my second choice of movies to see on Friday and now I'll get to catch that one too. *yay*

I'm sleepy but oddly awake tonight. Next week the goal is to get back onto a normal sleep schedule because the early mornings for the past week and a half totally threw me.

Oh and my almost end of the month icon journal wrap up. For those of you who read this who don't read my icon journal this month has included icons of: Sarah Slean, Buffy/Angel/Firefly, Veronica Mars, Edward Gorey, John Bellairs, Ivy Cottage books, V for Vendetta and Julia Roberts (made for Olivia but they're sharable.)

Oh and a WaT music video. I'm going to get all of my music vids uploaded hopefully in the next few weeks just for kicks.

Phew, just cleaned up my photoshop brushes. I had SO many on there that I'd either downloaded when I first started using the program was was like "OMG brushes make everything better" and a bunch of text brushes that were neat in theory until I realized that they made my icons tend to look like everyone elses.. strike those. Also I think even when I was using them I've used less than 10 total out of lord knows how many I had.

Oh also I had some of my icons stolen by a couple of Xanga users. Does this mean that I've made it as an icon maker? ;) Seriously, what is it with those "icon journals" over there? Even beyond the hotlinking/not crediting/claiming they made the icons who in the hell wants to make pages and pages of icons that they've found? This shows what? You can use the right click button on your mouse?

hmmmm I got no feedback at all for my last batch of Sarah Slean icons, none people. Ergo if you like Sarah Slean and haven't seen these go check them out here. They're all from the video for Lucky Me, which I thought was good timing since that just came out in Paris... but apparently not so much lol.

Must get ready for work now.
