Apr. 19th, 2007 09:11 amI am one of the minority of people who don't own a cell phone. So perhaps I'm out of this loop, is it absolutely necessary to have a loud conversation on the bus at 7:30 in the freaking morning?! I cannot stand this. If you're on the TTC no one wants to hear your conversation. I definitely do not want it to be louder than the music that I am listening to when I'm still trying to wake up. Honestly, I get if you have an important call but keep it quick and as quiet as possible while on a crowded bus (or any bus) long loud conversations can be had at your leisure elsewhere. Although this still was not as bad as the one time I was standing near a guy on the bus who was breaking up with his girlfriend and being somewhat ambiguous about it "I just need time to myself" etc which apparently he thought was being nice but really it just seemed to be leading her to ask "how long" etc and I was tempted to just grab the phone and say "what he's trying to tell you is that he's just not that into you, now you and 50 random strangers on the bus are aware of it. You can probably do better than a tool like this." Seriously, who breaks up from the bus?!
