Thursday review

C.S.I

This one I found to be a little better than the last few. I have no idea why. Clea Duvall was in it (I think that was her, if not I look like a loon now lol) but they had guest stars on earlier this season who I enjoy as well so I dunno what the difference was.

Although Grissom got on my nerves today. "We have two choices, go backwards or go ahead" Umm or choice number three, since you did have reception TRY THE PHONE AGAIN from a different location (or walkie talkie or whatever) His role tonight just felt like the useless plot device. Oh and him and the meteor shower as well. I'd have liked to see him in another capacity and some smaller character watching the stars or something.

WaT

Another really good week for the show. I'm reserving judgement on the new girl, especially seeing as she seemed to get tvViv's screentime, le boo.

I liked that Martin wasn't just brushed aside and that he was the one who cracked open a big part of the case.

The Sam and Martin interaction is great. It's as though season three just didn't exist in there and we're back on track with our characters. I highly enjoy that.

Sam, oh Sam, she's just getting better and better. A seriously compassionate Sam as opposed to "compassionateSam" who was just a bitch to everyone. The new Sam, Sam 2.0 if you will (or maybe bitchy version was 2.0 and we're back to 1.0....who knows) actually cares about the cases, tries to keep the team running smoothly. I loved that she helped out the new girl. Her and the new girl playing hooker was to die for, so well played out.

Jack... meh, I'm still not a huge fan of the character. I really think ALP is so much more talented than the role they've given him. I did enjoy seeing the aspect of him havnig to stay in the office and work while the team was actually out in the field. I was getting really really sick of the "Jack does everything" show last year, and as a boss he'd have more of the administrative work to do and less of being the guy to take down the suspect EVERY TIME.

You know, I did wonder who the random people were in the office at the end of the ep. They always show other people working there but it looked like new girl's desk was surrounded by them. Did they shun her to the other side of the office?

I don't like her and Danny having a history though. That's just going to be random drama, but it will have to be played out like stale-already-happened-drama and that gets meh pretty fast.

... I do however already have my caps picked out for the contest this week :D

I'm hungry... and sleepy. Time for a quick snack and then bedtime asap, I have to wake up early for work tomorrow.

Having it be past "baggage" at least means we won't have to endure a "OMG ARE DANNY AND THE NEW GIRL GOING TO SEX!!!??" all season. I too liked Office!Jack. I felt sorry for Martin alone in the apartment. Him and Sam are being so cute though it's almost easy to forget that at they end of last year they practically hated each other. And NewSam 2.0 is ...is.... COMPASSIONATE! lol.

That hooker was hott. *cough*

And soz I didn't answer the phone. It wasn't that I wasn't talkative, I was on the toilet then I went down to Lisa's to get her keys and a lesson in snail care :)

Hopefully Veronica Mars will be downloaded by tomorrow so I can finally discuss that one!
