Okay, I must start by saying I hate the whole idea of the flu shot. I cannot be convinced that it's a good idea to get one every year. With the flu shot you are protected against maybe 5 strains of the flu, there are 1000's. So your odds of staying healthy just aren't good anyways.

I also am a believer that when people innoculate themselves against EVERY LITTLE THING we get more super diseases. Like the norwalk flu for example. So you avoid a small illness that might have you out of commission for a day and help to breed one that will make you sick for a week.

My family all went for their flu shot today. Family outing. I refused to go yet again. One more reason that I'm a dissapointment. My god she thinks for herself, let's shun her! My mother and I had the same argument about how if I don't get the flu shot I make the rest of them sick. So me, and me alone, is responsable for all illness in my house for the next 6 months. Does this make sense? no.

What the reality really is is that my mom and brother both have the same immune system and it sucks, they're ALWAYS sick. My dad and I have a killer immune system, we're rarely sick. When we do get sick we fall hard but we also recover pretty fast. So all winter my mom and brother get sick and somehow this always gets blamed on me... because, oh no it couldn't be that the FLU SHOT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!

So in conclusion I reiterate, I hate the flu shot.
