elizalavelleYesterdays textbook shopping didn't go so well on the actual finding of textbooks for me scale. Dell found a whole bunch but I only found one. Oh well though cuz I found lots and LOTS of other books. My two best finds were: an anthology of childrens' literature for $2 and the 15th Oz book The Royal Book of Oz which is written by Ruth Plumley Thomson BUT L. Frank Baum came up with the ideas for it before he passed away so I've been really wanting to read that one. I also bought a copy of the Sleepy Hollow DVD for my mother, and one for me.
Then I made my way up to Daisy's house to give her the Canadian Idol autographs and visit with her. She's such an awesome kid! It turned out that that evening her parents were having a big BBQ thing so I ended up visiting with 7 kids including Walker. He was in such a good mood! Last time I'd watched him he was not doing so well and I left when he was crying and just not a happy boy but Dell said he was great for her yesterday and he didn't even needs his meds as much as usual and last night he was being super great. I'm still amused that when the parents need a break from him and no one can watch him that he plays in Tecca's closet. It's a HUGE walk in closet so it's not like he's boxed in at all. There's just nothing to hurt him there and he loves to play with shoes lol. His poor little hands were all calloused though, poor Boogle.
Oh Dell I was talking to Johanna about your Mexican husband and I mentioned the walking STD alert. She said if he was cute in person she may have to run away with him, I said he probably had a bunch of STDs if he was that hot in person, but she's said she could forgive that LOL so you have some competition ;)
It was a good night, I ended up getting a cab home so that I could pack.... which I didn't finish, actually I'm still not done but I'm almost there. I woke up at 6 instead of at 7 SO I have an extra hour more than I'd planned on having. My room upstairs is almost clean.... I just have to put a lot of stuff into drawers.
