Draft workshop is done. Was it worth my time? Nope. Oh and she let 2 guys from the class do the whole peer editing thing via email because they weren't done their work for today. SO I get it. If you just don't do your work you get a favour but if you offer to do it early you don't get the option of going home. RUDE! I shot her death looks all class. Not very mature but some days I'm not. She was making arrangements with one of the guys while I was looking right at her and she didn't even have the grace to look a bit guilty or to talk to me and say that maybe she thought up this alternative later or something.... I am not impressed, I could already be on my way home and instead I'm here because I actually offered to do my work early.
And she calls our editing "discussion marks" so it counts as more forced participation. How I loathe participation marks when they're forced things. Participation is optional not forced upon you. Or at least in most situations it should be. This editing thing was just time for our prof to chill out at her desk for a class while we all pretended to work hard at editing but everyone just dashed some comments off and got the hell out of dodge. It even took her like 1/2 an hour to get us into the groups that she felt were appropriate. She's all about us meeting new people. Umm the program is small, I know most everyone. No one is new, I can work with anyone, so why can't I just chose someone who sits near me instead of the whole class wandering around trying to find their groups? BAH, not amused at all right now.
I must pack, then do dishes, then shower if there's time.
