holiday monday

woohoo yah! I love long weekends! I didn't sleep in too much today cuz I have to be able to get up early for work tomorrow....

My photoshop download is almost done! My parents were up early and disconnected me around 6am, darn dial up connection. I miss school internet. Although I just heard that the school wants to limit the amount each person can download in a week cuz people just leave their computers on all the time and download movies. This apparently makes the internet run slower. But I'd rather have internet that's a bit slow as compared to not being allowed to download what I want when I want...gotta jet my download finished, can't let my parents know I'm online during business hours, I dislike living at home for the summer.

Grr computer

Yah my computer is still being silly, it's reading music cd's just fine but I tried to install a word processor today and it froze about 6 times before I gave up. Grr arg

OSAP

Well I finally finished filling out my OSAP application. I'm cutting it a little close I know but it probably wont matter cuz once I finished it gave my estimate at 0$ so yah, next year I'm screwed. I'll be trying for bursurys of course but they don't come in 'til Dec. grr arg!

My mom is making me teach her how to use Kazaa, she didn't realize that you could download more than songs from it. Now I think she's going into technology shock. The other night she was watching Entertainment Tonight to see Bruce Springsteen and had a pop culture overload. She's finally learning some fun modern stuff. She's been hooked on Buffy and Angel though, I'm proud to say that it's all my fault.... gotta go install my word perfect, more later tonight I think...

Oh Dell if you read this I can't do the thing tonight., I'm getting sick, I'm not proud to say that it's all my mom's fault... It's just a cold so I'm trying to sleep it off cuz I can't miss work. I'll work on the HMV piece on my way too and from work though :)

Well I'm almost off to bed, it's early I know but I have to get up early for work tomorrow and I'm kinda nervous about this job. It's for a family where I'll have to look after 2 kids but the younger one is developmenally delayed. He's a sweetie and I've looked after just him or him and a bunch of kids (but the bunch pretty much watched themselves). I'm just a little worried about splitting my focus between him and his sister.
