fun fun fun

I'm starting to like my res better :) We had a floor meeting and it was so fun. Wow I never thought I'd ever say that floor meetings were fun, how about that. My only problem is with the birthday thing cuz on your bday they take you out drinking and I don't wanna go but I'll have to ask about that. I'll go to everyone elses bday so that'll be alright I think. We also do a secret santa thing which should be fun. I'm excited for it. Chrismas parties here seem like they'll be better than in Huntington. The Huntington party for Christmas resembled a drunken disfunctional family christmas...

I have only one class today but I'm going to the bookstore to buy more books and I have to talk to the computer guys. I checked out my connection here and I haven't stolen anything so it's not me....grrr I'm working on it so I hope that soon I'll have my own internet but apparently it takes about 2 months for them to find who has your IP address, yikes!

Productive day

I have had quite the productive day dispite the fact I only had one class today. I paid for my res for this term, bought the rest of my textbooks for this term and I only need one more for next term, labled all of my buffy tapes so I can tell what they are from the side (I'm missing some Angel's from last season *ack*) and didn't fall asleep in class although my eyes were so heavy feeling. Oh and I saw the computer store guy and he said he would fix the computer problem and I'm able to be online now so it could be fixed :) I'm glad.

Oh it's the one year anniversary of Sept 11th. I feel so terrible about it but I'm sick of the propiganda that is going on right now. My roommate keeps watching this stuff and I can't stand it. I watched it as it happened last year, was terrified and sickened, now I'm fully aware of it and don't need such a strong reminder. If it was less then maybe I would be paying more attention. I am very sorry for the families who were affected by the 9/11 tragedies, but here's an idea, can I see the footage of all the families the US has bombed in Afghanistan? 3 buildings were taken out in the states, how much damage has been done overseas. Unless I see both sides of the story I can's sympathize as well.
