Well this past weekend has been great, did I do schoolwork, nope not really :)
Friday day I went for my first tutoring visit and my kid is so cute, a boy in kindergarten who is so chubby. He had the flu when I visited so I only got to stay for 10 minutes 'til his mom came to get him but he was great. Then I went to the fall fair with my Aunt. I didn' t find much that I wanted to buy but it was a good time just the same. Friday night Megan, Meghan, Tanya Kaitie and I saw White Oleander which was amazing. Not as good as the book but very true to the book, well as true as it could be without being 4 hours long. Then we came back to Res, watched 3/4 of Almost Famous, went outside, smoked up and then watched the rest. Then Tanya and I tried to go to bed around 4 but it ended up being closer to 5am because we were having too much fun. My RENT "the line starts here" sign fell so I had to put it back up but I was pounding the wall and then realized Erica was on the other side and she's a light sleeper so banging on the walls, not so bright. Then I thought the sign was falling again so I took it down and managed to fall on my funny bone doing that. We were laughing so much, then she read me a bedtime story and I read her bedtime poems and we slept.
Saturday night I babysat and the kids are great! I'm loving them. SO polite and well behaved but so full of energy and fun. It was a great time. Both kids were sick so we didn't do too much but it was still fun. Then I got back early enough to go to the pub with everyone. Leigh, Katie and I got stoned before going and then I drank and I'm such a fucking light weight with smoking and drinking that I was right out of it. We all got dressed up for the Pub, and it was a pretty good time. Then we came back, watched matchmaker, the dirty dates, in Leighs room and were frankly a little frightened. Then off to bed....kinda, again. Mark came to visit Tanya and ended up passing out in her bed, before I passed out (in my own bed) which I was impressed with myself about. So poor Tanya was in there with him and she got woken up by a few guys from downstairs (Carlos and Reggie) pounding on our door. So she yelled at them a few times, they wrote nasty stuff on our door, but it was drunken nasty stuff so it was still funny. I somehow managed to sleep through this, I must have been passed out cold.
Today Lisa and I went to the mall so I could buy Tanya's birthday present. I found sports socks for her (she asked for those) and a package of Snow creme and shower gel from the body shop because she didn't want snow before her birthday on tuesday and it's snowed twice up here already just this weekend lol. I'm amused anyways and I hope she'll like it. I also bought myself winter boots and pink fuzzy slippers. I know I know I'm so not a pink person but I liked the fluffy fuzzy aspect and there was no other colour and my other slippers had gaping holes in them. I also bought Vicky a small bday present and I finished both Tanya and Vicky's cards.
Oh and I kidnapped Erica's sheep keychain that she keeps scaring me with. It baa's when you squeeze it and she kept squeezing it right next to my face when I wasn't expecting it. So yah today I bought 3 sheeps just the same at the dollar store. We cut 2 of them in half. and we're sticking one of the cut in half sheep to her door tonight. The other one is being saved for April fools and the third ones' "baa" noise is almost dead so she she freaks out and wants her sheep back we're giving her that one first, then her real one. I think it will be amusing.
Tanya and I have been crazy all afternoon. I've been a queen procrastonator and didn't start my essay 'til almost 7pm. She keeps throwing stuff at me over our desks and she made confetti out of a postit and thew that too and keeps surprising me and making me scream. And we ate some expired pasta and are feeling pretty good about it.
Okay I gotta go cuz I get to watch the Practice cuz I'm done my essay except for the intro and conclusion which I'm not doing 'til tomorrow when my brain is clear.
