Very productive
Apr. 10th, 2004 07:49 pmI've been applying for jobs all day today, I feel super productive. Of course to be really productive I'll have to get called back for some of them lol. I hope I manage to find work somewhere before I come home for the summer because I've promised myself that if I haven't found something decent by the end of April I will be looking into the world of telemarketing lol. I was considering the giftshop of horrors but I went in there today and just walked out, I can't do it again, just can't.
Last night my brother took me to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I love his free movie passes, it's fun having a brother who works at a movie theater (where I may end up this summer as well.) It was such an excellent movie! If you haven't seen it, go now! It was just excellent, I'd been looking forward to this one since last summer and hadn't made it to see it until last night because I just can't afford many extras right now.
Speaking of money, the bank machine at school was FUCKED this friday. I went to take out money for breakfast before my bus ride home. I took out 20$, so 21.50 with the service charge and it said I had 0$ left in my bank account. Even if LU had cashed my cheque(which they still haven't grrr) I still should have had about 90$ left, so I was freaking out because I had no idea where almost a hundred dollars had gone and I couldn't think of a time when I'd even used my bank card over the last couple of weeks, definitely not since I'd last checked my balance. So that was not fun at all. I got home, and my GST cheque was here so I figured that was good, at least I could put something into my account until I figured out what was wrong, I deposited it and had 380$, I was relieved but mad at the LU bank machine, students do not need to see that they are broke right before exams, that's unneeded stress!
Tonight I should be writing essays, but no, I am going to go watch Benny and Joon with my mom cuz I feel like a Johnny fix instead, I'm also really tired from spending a day looking for work. Oh and I'm SO jealous, my brother got my mom a wall sized Johnny poster from Secret Window, she has a wall of Johnny! I want a wall of Johnny but she wont let me steal this one :( And it's pretty hard to smuggle a wall sized poster out of the house lol. Erika you'd love it. This would seriously cover the wall where our doors are in res, mmmmmm wall of Johnny!
