I'm back in res. Home was okay, I didn't really have time for anything though because I was applying for jobs. I did get to see my new room though. This summer (and forever more) I'm living in the back office. I've not been too happy about this arrangement at all but now that it's more decorated I kinda like it. Somehow my dad got my mom to give up my bookshelf and dresser so the office looks more like my space now, and he bought me a freestanding closet. Also ALL of the stuff that was in there that was my parents is gone. I didn't actually mind my dads stuff being in there but I guess it's good that he took it out so that he doesn't have to get something from the office while I'm sleeping. I do like having a new room though, it's not so much like going back to being a kid when I'm at home, it is my own brand new space. It's smaller than my old room but that's okay, my room at res is about 2/3rds the size of what I'm going to have at home so I'm moving back up lol I'm also really excited to decorate and organize my stuff, get most of it out of boxes at least :) My mom was pissy about that, I think she's going to try to take back my bookcase and such in September... I'm not really a fan of that idea, not happening.

Both ways on my bus trip I had a little kid sitting near me (it could have been the same kid.) On the way down this little boy was with his dad and his dad just kept getting him all rowdy and hyper and loud. I know it's hard to keep a kid calm on the bus for 4 1/2 hours but it's easier if you don't get them all wound up then tell them to be quiet... pointless. Then on the way back this little boy was travelling with his Grandma who wouldn't let him go to the bathroom. I don't think she liked the bus bathroom much (although he would go on his own) and she kept telling him he had to go in Parry Sound.... of course there's a McDonalds there with a playland so he didn't go then had to beg to be allowed to go on the bus bathroom. HONESTLY, just let the poor kid pee, bas bathrooms are not the cleanest but who cares, he was like 7, holding it is not going to happen for 4 1/2 hours. I wanted to yell at this woman. She also brought him toys like a flashlight which the driver had to tell him not to use because it's distracting, then what does she do, yells at the kid for playing with the things she gave him. I felt bad for this poor kid, he was getting in trouble for doing the things that she told him to. Grownups behaving badly.
