(no subject)

My WaT video still isn't saving all of the way yet, I've gotten it up to 73% saved before the computer freezes.... so I defragged, and deleted a bunch of stuff... still no more progress. I'm sure it will save eventually it's just taking it's sweet ass time for now and I want to send it to my parents. It's something important that I've made... at least I think it is. I figured out how to do it pretty much on my own after Viv told me that I had the program already on my computer that was easy to use. I just feel more productive making things like that than I do writing an essay. I want to learn how to use my adobe photoshop, maybe make a few icons, see if I can do it. I'll have to work on teaching myself these things.

The election is tonight, I don't like it, I'll watch the coverage near the end.... see if we're going to WWIII because that's really an issue for me, if the war in the middle east keeps being pushed it's just going to blow up. Also that video that's being suppressed right now from the guy who says he lives in the US, is a terrorist and threatened that if Bush is reelected then "the streets will run with blood" is not a good sign. Hello warning sign. Huge flashing lights, blaring sirens... how much more warning do people need? le sigh :( I know living in terror is not a good thing, rolling over and obeying terrorists is not the answer but electing a terrorist as your president (think about it, how do the countries in the middle east feel about how they're being treated... there's a lot more happening over there than what's in the news) is also not the answer....

I'm downloading in the middle of the day, university is going to hate me, I'm eating bandwidth... but I want more WaT eps to make videos now lol, it's an addiction.... which will impare my sleeping for a while. I just want a few more episodes to take clips from before I start to make a new video, I don't want them all to be filled with the same Sam/Martin clips over and over.

Childhood Songs

YAY I am not crazy... lol well not in this case I'm not.

For years I've been trying to find this song called Hector the Spider, it's a kids song and NO ONE had heard of it. But my mom found out that it was by some guy in Sudbury. My aunt's mother had given my brother and I the tape of it. It's called The Little Skidoo by Bert Collins. Now it's not in mainstream stores but my Aunt think she may still have a copy or that I can find it at the little place downtown that has rare stuff. I'm very excited :) I'm going to be using my first paycheque to get a copy of this, I must hunt one down.

In other news I saw the Hallmark Wizard of Oz Christmas orinament that has the Wicked Witch of the West melt into the orniment. 53$, ouch. Not getting one, but I am amused by it.

In bad news, thus far Bush is ahead in the popular vote and in Electoral seats. I'm starting to be seriously freaked out. What is wrong with the 51% of the people who thus far have voted for Bush? That's a badly phrased question, they have a right to vote however they please but I just can't help feeling that people are swayed by his "lowering taxes" platform and are missing a lot of the other issues... *sigh*
