Dec. 27th, 2004 10:07 amI wish the WaT icontest was over, I want to use the Sam icon I made, I really like what I ended up creating. I also am excited to see what the next Idina icontest will be, I like challanges like these, they give me practice.
It's Boxing Day today in Sudbury (nothing opens here on the 26th), I have work in a few hours, much crazyness will be had I'm sure. I've never worked a real boxing day rush before. In the gift shop we were dead over the winter holidays... and that's my only other retail type of job.... I'm actually really glad I have my job now because not only is it fun but also I really do need more work that counts on my resume. I've been tecnically working since I was 12, summer camp volunteering and then of course TONS of babysititng. But babysitting (or nannying which it graduates to when you do it full time lol) doesn't count for much. It should because taking care of kids is a huge responsability. I wouldn't leave my own children with someone who wasn't responsible. A good thing about work today is that we get free food because we won the PJ selling contest. Our PJ sales were always between 35%/45% of our daily sales, we rocked :)
Tonight I get to see Closer at the Rainbow Cinemas... weird that it's there already. I wish I could be seeing Phantom of the Opera but it's STILL not in Sudbury, and wont be here before I leave.... MAYBE it'll actually get here when I come back. This is so blah, I'm used to when a movie is released it's playing, I don't like this practice of getting the movie weeks later. I'm spoiled that way lol.
Okay I've got to get dressed for work and head on out.
