(no subject)

So yeah.... computer has been home for less than 12 hours... and it's broken :( I didn't break it, the computer people just didn't fix it. They said they got rid of the problem... but clearly did not as nothing is fixed... I just have more space...which is rapidly dissapearing. NOT FAIR! SO now Viv's helping me, because she's WAY more compitent than the computer store people apparently, at least she listens to what the problem is and is directly addressing it rather than running a system diagnostic....... aka norton scan and deleting a temp file that was corrupted.

This is not making me pleased at all, already I've gone from having 14.9 gigs free to 13.5 in one evening.

On the bright side I've been discovering the joy of stock photos as gradients for photoshop and made a couple icons of Heavenly Creatures (cuz the movie was on tonight and inspired me) and I also redid the ashing icon for Ava...

All I want to do is make fun graphics, listen to my mp3s and enjoy my computer.... instead it's making my head want to expload. :(:(:(

(no subject)

I'm using LisaLisa's computer... her mouse freaks me out lol. I'm afraid to turn mine on... and off... and to delete anything. I wish I knew what I was doing that was causing files to be copied...(or whatever's happening) so that I could just stop doing it. LisaLisa is super nice to let me use her computer but it's not the same....

I'm trying to find a bright side though. If I reformat then it's like I get a whole new computer pretty much. The only big worry I'm having right now is my MP3 files... but IF I can get them all zipped and burned then all will be well. Oh and pictures too.... must make picture CDs. Again that's doable.


Hungry now... breakfast and then work time.

AND Daddy's supposed to call soon to let me know if he can find my XP cd at home... cuz if he can't then I have to go home next weekend... if he can I might just go anyways to pick it up... Viv when are you bussing? I'm guessing on friday? Cuz if I go at the same time we can get that half price fare...

**edit** daddy found the cd and is express posting it here Viv so I should have it by Wed. at the latest. Yay for reformatting :( I still think I may go home this weekend though. Here is making me sad. ***
