Congratulations, you got 8/10 correct!

WTF, I don't know any math. Oh well lol

I saw the Dresden Dolls last night. I'll review later (work now) but they were awesome!

So I owe a Dresden Dolls review :) I lucked out big time with this show. Earlier in the evening Viv and I were trying to plan something for her random foreign guy who is living in her parents house now (aka FES lol) to do. But plans didn't really solidify too well, when we finally found the movie Viv wanted to see it was playing very far away and a late show... so I bailed because I had to get up early for work. Then later in the evening Cam messaged me and offered me a ticket to see the Dresden Dolls. I'd heard of them but never heard their music but it sounded entertaining so I went for it.

Now I am so glad that I did! The show was so different and amazing. We arrived as the first opener, Faun Fables, was performing. I kept going between liking her and then being meh about her and then liking her again. She was good for sure but hasn't reached outstanding yet... soon I'm sure though, she has crazy potential. Then we had an interlude of a ballerina who stripped for us and then this crazy act with hoops, huge hoops that people spun around in, so cool. Oh and a psychic who also did the trick where you hammer nails into your nose! I've been wating to see that live since I heard of the Jim Rose freak show (thank you Xfiles) so that was cool. Oh and during all of this there was a living statue/portait girl walking around, tres cool.

Then another opening act, DeVotchKa, who were SO good. Also hot ;) I'd totally get thier album Cam was comparing them to The Arcade Fire, only a smaller band being that there were only 3 guys. Still, SO good. Also they all had such passion on stage.

Then the main act, the Dresden Dolls. OMG are they ever fabulous live! I didn't know any of the songs (excluding the covers) and I was still just so entertained! They knew how to rock their crowd and it was just fun for the whole set. The random "DRINK" guy in the crowd was amusing, even more amusing that Amanda kept drinking for him lol she was hardcore. I honestly was left pretty speechless from the experience, it was a mindblowing show and I highly reccomend them. Go to www.dresdendolls.com for much better descriptions, and downloads :)
