(no subject)

Hee, I snagged a perfect icon for election day here. (well it was yesterday technically) Anyways, it seemed like it was going to be a close race in my riding between the NDP and the Liberals but the NDP won :) woot woot. I was so annoyed by the campaigning. I think I was called every day by each party... plus we had them come to the door a few times today. It was crazy. Honestly I just was so tempted to say "I'll vote for you only if your party doesn't call me anymore, if I get one more phone call I will vote for your opposition"

Gah, whatever, I've learned to just tell them you're voting for them when they call. That way they go away faster. In the end I know the issues well enough, I know what the parties stand for and I will vote as I please and calling me over and over again is not going to change my vote. It is more likely to make me say "fuck this" and just not vote at all because by the time the election gets here I'm sick of it all.

I did vote though. Go me :D
