Aug. 29th, 2007 02:48 pmToday I feel old. I just recommended a kid who I used to babysit for for a job at my office. Where did the time go?!
These kids who I used to babysit for are all so grown up! I've got a couple more of them who I'm still in touch with who are in University now and I think that most of the rest of them are in high school, there would be a couple who would be in elementary school now but not many.
In other growing up news I read an article on Yahoo about how the majority of people in North America don't end up doing what they wanted to do when they grew up. That's sad. I'm still working towards doing what I want to do so I'm temporarily stuck somewhere (and all things considered I have an excellent place to be stuck in) but what happens to us as we grow up, why do so many people have to give up their dreams of what they want to do?
