While I've still not cleaned the living room, which was supposed to be my first task, I had quite the productive day back from vacation today. Got lots of work done at work... also had a free coffee and then remembered why I don't drink coffee anymore. I can have the caffine in soda but I was just so wired for 3 hours, not fun really. At home I did some pilates, washed most of the dishes in the kitchen and had a lovely healthy dinner :) Then settled in to listen to The Goldburg Variations as played by Glenn Gould (I had a piano craving) and my computer kept freezing (boo) so it's now defragging and I'm off to begin rereading Little Women because that's a great Christmas book :)

How doemestic am I? ;)

I went to a lovely Shindig on Sunday which was a great way to wrap up the weekend. It was Rosie's last TO Shindig for a while as she's off to travel Canada (what fun!) and it was also the first time I'd seen Mel since SFX weekend this summer! Great to see people. So fabulous to hear about BackupBash. I'm jealous of a cancelled event, clearly it was awesome even with half the attendees catching Fillion-itis along the way ;) The pictures were awesome, the stories were even better :) I was so happy that the weekend worked out for those who were there.

Ah, defrag is done, time for more music and some reading before bed.

Little Women is a great Christmas book! :)

Coffee does a number on my stomach. I remember the days when I could drink a gabillion cups a day... now, not so much. caffine in soda is fine, in coffee not so much. we must be getting old! lol :)

I like your choice in music. Sometimes I forget I'm not the only person in the world who listens to classical....

I don't listen to it often, but every now and again I have a yen for it :)

Same with me; Although I *love* listening to movie soundtrack music, which comes very close to qualifying as classical.

John Williams, James Horner, Jerry Goldsmith ... the great classical composers of today are working in the movies, in my opinion. Or TV -- Christopher Beck rocks!
