I love B/A in season 1 and 2 but by season 3 I still loved it but was ready to move on by the end... which is (I think) what the intended effect was. That way the viewers didn't totally hate the 'ship but they could see it end without giving up on the show.
I do like that Veronica stands up for what she believes in and does what she thinks is the right thing no matter what the cost. That's a trait that drew me to the show, so I hope they keep that.
The thing with Keith is he isn't second choice for Sheriff, he didn't work for the town of Neptune's law enforcement in any way shape or form. So essentially they chose a civillian to do the job. Yes he ran for sheriff but he lost, and he had the job before but he was removed from it. It made no sense not to let Sacs or another person working in that field be the temporary sheriff until Keith could be properly elected.
