Ottava rima? Me? That can't be right!    Too frivolous? But tut, there's no such thing! now for a real entry

I made a cake the other day, the pan was just a smidge too small though so it was all burning on the outside but not cooked on the inside. eek! But I am somewhat capable in the kitchen so I cut some airholes in the top to get the middle done faster and then trimmed off the burny parts and it all turned out rather well in the end, it was just a minute crisis in the middle for a bit.

Then this morning I woke up SUPER early to see Sarah Slean perform on Canada AM on CTV. News shows should seriously not start at 6:30am, I also should remember to go to bed before 2am on days I want to be up early. Of course she then did not perform until 8:50am so I was awake for a lot of repeated news and weather. Seriously the 2 1/2 hour show could have been an hour and still had time to repeat news and weather twice. I guess no one's meant to be watching the whole thing.

But in the end I did get to see Sarah Slean perform, it made me even more excited for the show in TO :) I don't think Belleville is going to happen but as long as I'm going once more I will be more than content :) Her thing about her feet is adorable. I would walk around barefoot everywhere except for that I generally hate my feet so I get it. Also if you're peforming a lot of performers prefer to be barefoot, it must be a musical thing :)

8:30 class tomorrow, not as good a reason to be awake as Sarah Slean is :( also I think we're starting at 8:15 so even more ew.
