reason 145 why I cannot deal with dial up internet at home this summer: My dad has no concept of other people needing the phone. I told him at 11:45 that I was going for a shower and then I'd need the internet once I was out. He said sure, I showered got dressed, blow dried my hair... basically just took a long time to give him enough time to finish what he needed to and at 1:00 he was still online and wouldn't get off and I'm freaking out cuz I needed to get my resume printed and go apply for jobs. Also the family computer that my mom and dad use is just dying, it keeps making this sqeaking noise and it sounds like gears are grinding (although there are no gears in a computer I don't think) it's not cool and my dad keeps saying that it's just normal computer noise and I should stop bugging him about it. I swear that their computer is going to blow up and then I get to say "I told you so" cuz I did tell them again and again that they had to take care of their computer and they don't get that. Things like defragmenting the computer are foreign concepts for them. grrrrrr

must run and get jobs now ;)
