Friday I actually stayed in, too tired from work to go visiting, and watched movies. Boring but I need nights like those.
Saturday I was up early made sure the kitchen cupboard was empty as the building manager was coming over to take it down.... waited waited waited, had lunch, waited. He'd been working on another apartment earlier and apparently it was a much bigger probem then was anticipated. But he did make it before 2 which was when I had to leave so that was okay. I put Zion in Nomi's bedroom for the remainder of the day (don't think he's very happy with me) and I went over to Jo's place.
Jo's apartment may be my new blackhole of time Viv. I got there I think around 4 and thought we'd been chatting for only like 1/2 an hour... then it was 7:30 and we hadn't even gone swimming yet! There were lots of kiddies in the swimming pool so we decided to try out or skills at pool while we waited to swim. We are on equal levels of sucking so it was much fun :)
Then swimming, part of a movie, playing with music boxes (of which she gave me this lovely one that I had when I was a little kid and got tossed by my mom at some point. I've been enjoying the song in there again) and much more talking later I had to leave because I couldn't leave Zion in a room by himself all night. So I made my way back home. Didn't fall asleep on the streetcar this time, and was in bed before 3. Not too shabby.
Today I'm off to see Pirates which I'm sure won't be ending in the way I want it to but will probably be greatly amusing nonetheless. At least it had better be amusing because I'm already booked to see it again next week lol.
I've also been bit by the icon muse, just gotta finish my Buffy set and then I have so many ideas for projects!
