SPOILERS for Rat Saw God
No Wallace :( awww, he's very missed when he's not there. I hope he comes back soon. Then again this episode was SO full that I can see why they left him on the other end of an email.
Cliff. I love Cliff. For the love of god may Logan keep him as his lawyer. "we're out of gin" "I'm not picky" LMAO he's fantastic!
Keith losing the electing = le boo. However it works best for the plot lines. Plus Lamb rocks even though as a sherrif he's an ass. Keith as the protective dad with..... well I'm getting to that character soon... threatening him and lettnig him know how easy it would be to hurt him should anything happen to Veronica. Wonderful.
The Duncan Dick friendship is odd to me. Dick is Logan's friend really. Also how can Duncan be nice to a guy like that who he has no real ties to who treats his girlfriend like crap? Ohhhhh that's right, because he's a freaking robot who really just stands around while stuff happens.

Aaron Echolls! WHOLY FUCK! This is why I go in unspoiled. He was a surprise and a half! So great to see him again (with oddly coiffed hair from a prison hairdresser but whatever, I let it slide) and am I the only one who's thinking ..."maybe" about him saying Duncan killed Lilly? I know I know he's crazy and clearly snapped when it came to Veronica but how brilliant and heart wrenching would it be if it comes out that while he's crazy he didn't kill Lilly and Duncan did do it and Veronica's been with him all year?! That would be horrible. But good drama. Angst like woah. Also a strong way to end the season if next year we have to move to a University setting.. change up the cast, goodbye Donut.
Joss Whedon. What can I say, I love the man! Also he's gotten hella skinny.
Kim from ANTM. She was good enough. Not bad like Naima so I'm all good with that. Hell if this gets VM more ratings I'm happy. Also hey during ANTM we had some VM shots so that was fun :)
Okay back to regular stuff. Dick forgiving Logan for banging Kendall, so good, totally in character. Also saying that he wanted to bang Lynn. LOL "no hard feelings" "... well a few" LOVE those boys.
Logan. Oh Logan. This was a huge ep for him. He and Cliff have great interactions. Him getting arrested. Woah, I've been wondering where random bridge guy went. HOWEVER clearly from what we saw the guy called 911 when Logan was down on the ground almost passed out. SO the witness is lying. So who paid him to do so I wonder? What's going on? Gah I want more.
LoVe, oh we have some! How could she not recognize those arms?! There's the best screencap of that scene floating around where it looks like they're both so turned on. Love it :D
Logan having his house burned down :( Lamb "that's going to mess with your TiVo" LMAO. But the bigger question is, is the Alpaca okay? Does he now too live in the hotel suite with Duncan? Oh and hello awkward. Logan is rich, he could get his own room. Why live with Duncan? To get to Veronica of course ;)
Logan buying Weevils grandmother's house. Great asshole retaliation. I loved the PCHers in this ep and the racial tension is building like woah. It's only going to get worse.
Oh and repeated statements:
"those white boys think they can get away with anything"
"money matters"
Two major themes to watch.
Oh Clarence Weidman working with Veronica, freaking priceless. Scary team though, I would not want to cross them. Her showing up in his office "and your job is what again?" woot!
Oh, more guest stars, bring on the season one throwbacks :) Abel Koontz and Amelia! So sad. Veronica lying to Abel at the end made me cry. Yes people, I totally cried. Amelia being dead, so sad. Such a shame. Great MotW overall.
Oh and the end. Clearly Dick did smell something that "smelled like something died back here" because hello dead rat. Now the question is why a dead rat? Symbolism? Was someone on the bus (Veronica probably) a rat. Or was it there to cover up another smell... gas leak? So many questions.

Date: 2005-11-11 05:27 pm (UTC)I looked up the person on the bride, and it clearly isn't the same guy as the person that goes into Lamb's office. I thought maybe it was supposed to be, but they couldn't get him, but, I'm not so sure. VM is way too good on continuity for that.

With regards to Aaron, a couple of days before the episode aired, I was talking to a VM friend, and I gave her a long theory on how I didn't think Aaron had killed Lilly. I also gave reasons it could be Logan (but I don't believe or want to believe that, I was kidding). I also discussed how Duncan was clearly violent and I think we will see something with that later on. Then Aaron, Duncan did it! I was like OMG.
Anyway, sorry for my ramble. ;)
