I called the Spin Gallery again today and FINALLY got through to a person (not their machine that still has it's pre New Years message on it which while amusing was not helpful in the slightest) however they were less than helpful. What I have learned is that there will be seperate media and public openings. So while I really hope that Sarah would be playing at the public opening that makes far less sense than her playing at a media opening :( Ergo the public loses out. Also as soon as the guy found out I wasn't media he all but hung up on me telling me to look at the website in a few weeks and info will be up then. The art exhibit will also be opening in a few weeks, people want to come in from out of two for this... so not helpful at all for planning things. Now I have to work every media connection I have to find out what the deal is with this thing.
Or just find someone to call back and pretend to be from some magazine or something. That might work.
It's disappointing for now though. It's the last chance (the real last chance) to see Sarah perform before she's in Paris (again, since she's there now) and I realy wanted to at least have a chance to attend.
