OMG SOOOOOO FRUSTRATED. So I finished (I think) my Veronica Mars video... and my windows movie maker has developed a fun glitch and now wont open the file without crashing and therefore I can't view it, save it or edit it to fix whatever the problem is.
I could scream.
Does anyone know of anything I can do to fix this? As I'm loading the file I get the message "windows movie maker has encountered an error and needs to close, sorry for the inconvience blah blah blah"
I'm SO freaking angry.

Date: 2006-05-15 12:49 am (UTC)Right-click on your desktop, and go to the 'Settings' tab. Click on the 'Advanced' button near the bottom, and a new little window will pop up. In it, select the 'Troubleshoot' tab, and move the little slider so it's on the third little mark from the left. Underneath should be a little explantion that says something like "Disable all DirectDraw and Direct3D accelrations."
Then hit apply, and restart your computer. (Obviously, you should try to save as much of your vid as you can prior to this!) It should do the trick.
