Hmmm I have been in a huge Mal/Inara mood as of late and am highly tempted to get a ticket to SFX.... anyone going to this who wants company, or does anyone want to go?
In other news it's still grossly hot and since it's been so for a few days now it's begun to make me have more trouble sleeping and I woke up about 4 times last night going between being too hot, and then cold when the fan was directly on me, and then hot again. As a result I am sleepy and I think I'm going to have a lot of work to get through being that it was a long weekend so there was an extra day for stuff to pile up.
I seriously need to get packing. I'm going to try do do fall/winter clothes this week and just move them over because meh, I wont need them for a while and I need to move some stuff out of the way. I don't want to move anything valuable since I'm not actually living in the apartment for a little while longer, I just want to move small stuff that I can keep out of sight in the apartment but that I won't be needing here for the next month. Oh and my parents just bought a new car which, lucky for me, has a lot of storage space so I'll be able to move some stuff easily in there :)
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is out this week! I'm seeing it on Saturday :D

Date: 2006-07-04 11:01 pm (UTC)I've bought the deluxe pass ($39) which gets you in the for the whole weekend, and I think an early friday admission from 2-4 or something... a day pass is $20 so if you plan to do more than one day, you'd be best off getting the deluxe pass, as the day pass doesn't include special ticket events, though I've no idea if that will much matter anyway.... autographs will likely cost extra...
Here's a link to the SFX page for info... it's still pretty not there... but ticket prices are up and such..
Crashing might be a brilliant idea! Fun!

Date: 2006-07-05 12:36 am (UTC)I'm off to go order that one of those then :)
And yeah if you're in TO on Friday then it's probably easier to just stay here than to go back home (Oshawa?) and then come back to the city for Saturday morning. I won't be living super close to downtown by then but it wont be hard to get there via ttc :)

Date: 2006-07-05 02:40 am (UTC)I'm sure a bunch from the Canadian Browncoats list will be going, so there'll likely be lots of people to hang out with, many with Con experience who can guide us around *G*
What area is your appartment going to be in???

Date: 2006-07-05 02:43 am (UTC)I'll get to meet more Browncoats :) *yay*
I'm working in Etobicoke right now too, out around Islington Station, if your work is anywhere near to that I could meet you for lunch but I only get an hour as well so I can't go too far away and still make it back on time :S

Date: 2006-07-05 01:15 am (UTC)If you're in TO anytime before then and want to grab a coffee or something just so you know who I am send me an email at elizalavelle(at)yahoo(dot)ca and let me know. Most of my weekends are free-ish excluding next Saturday when I will be seeing Pirates of the Caribbean and the Saturday after that when I will be painting my apartment :)

Date: 2006-07-05 12:22 am (UTC)The weather's been unusually cool overall, here in Indiana. Oddly, we've been getting a lot of storms but we're still short on total rainfall. Strange weather.

Date: 2006-07-05 02:07 pm (UTC)I hate the heat. I woke up at like 2AM sweating like a bitch, and pissy because it woke me up. That totally sucks, when you wake up because you are hot, then cold, then hot, then cold. It's like AHHHH!!!! Stupid heat! lol
Moving some stuff is a smart idea, and it will make it easier for you in the long run. :) oooo new car! fancy!

Date: 2006-07-05 11:33 pm (UTC)I am the same way with the heat, I wake up all sweaty and gross and then move into the direct path of my fan, and then wake up 30 minutes later because I am freezing... and then repeat that pattern :S
