Neal and I went to go see Chicago last night. Yes the cast which includes a Backstreet Boy.... however the rest of the cast was FABULOUS. To be honest the Backstreet Boy (Kevin Richardson I believe) wasn't a horrible singer, that surprised me. His dancing was passible but not great and his acting stunk. But he averaged out to be okay. It was a really fun show, the cast was really relaxed and there was a lot of little adlibs. I giggled through much of it. It was a great night :) I'll be left singing songs from Chicago for weeks now, they always get stuck in my head.

I'm always so impressed with Fosse dancers. I'm amazed by how minimalist and also over the top they can be. It's fantastic! There's so much control involved.

At any rate it was a great night out, I quite enjoyed myself :)

I also spent yesterday getting my hair cut. I went a lot shorter than I'd planned to but I quite like the end result. I also bought winter boots. I spent more than I was intending but I think they'll be worth it. First I checked out Payless but their boots were $60-$80 and there's no way I'm paying that for Payless boots. So I checked out Winners (sidenote the mall by my parents house is really starting to actually be good!) and found these mauve Columbia boots which were $60 down from $120 so I grabbed those. I'd orignally planned to just go out and buy some cheap boots because in TO we don't really need winter boots most days but these ones will last for a while and I love purple things ;)

Chicago is always enjoyable I think :) Did you have fun at your surf thing? I called but you were still out so I talked with your mom (who is probably sick of me by now) and asked her to let you know I was just heading home then. I was mucho tired.
