I'm at my parents place this weekend doing some house/dog sitting for them. My brother's here too so I don't think they really needed me but I won't complain. I actually almost didn't make it last night as I managed to lose my keys. Nomi and I got home from buying groceries and the only things in my purse were my wallet and keys. Now I moved my wallet into my travelling bag, packed a bunch of stuff, was ready to leave and couldn't find my keys. I looked in, shook, and looked twice more in the purse where they had been. Couldn't find them, tore my room apart, looked EVERYWHERE in the apartment, and then Nomi found them, in my purse. How they were the only thing in that damn purse and it didn't sound like keys when I shook it I do not know. Clearly I was having a special night.

Oh I haven't done a Thursday TV review in a looong while. So let's do that.

C.S.I.

I think this show has gotten back on track this season, I keep missing episodes but the ones I’ve seen have been great. Now I sort of called the killer on this one early only because my reaction was “hey it’s the mayor from Buffy, well he must have killed someone” so that doesn’t really count. They did have me fooled with the son for a while. I like that they’re making this “Miniature Killer” storyline last through May sweeps (at least I’m assuming it will last until then.

O.C.

So the farther Mischa gets the better the show gets… and yet it’s ending next week. I can’t believe I’m sad about that. Last year I couldn’t have cared less but it got good again. Taylor does not stop amusing me and I think the show is going to end well. NEXT week would be by far the best time to use that acoustic slow version of 'California'. WAY better than when Mischa Barton is expelled. I'm just saying...

Grey’s Anatomy

So this still is the awesome show of the night. It’s such a soap opera and I know logically it’s not good but OMG it’s so good! Another 3 parter, gah! And DENNY! And random b___ s____ guy! But most of all DENNY! I know they cannot actually get rid of Meredith and we’ll get the predictable ending of them telling her she has so much more to live for blah blah blah. BUT still so good, we can see Denny react to how Izzy spent his money and when Meredith wakes up (as we know she has to) we can cry when she tells Izzy she saw Denny. I’m looking forward to next week. :)

The easiest way to hide something is in plain sight ... have you ever read "The Purloined Letter"? :-)

I've not, I take it I should read that? :) And I always lose things in plain sight. I lose things more after I clean than when my room is in total shambles.

Same here ... and then, when I'm looking for stuff, I'll find things I gave up on looking for earlier.

I don't remember much about "The Purloined Letter", which I read in middle school; just that the plot twist involved the object of a search that ended up being very much in plain sight the whole time. I don't want to give it away, but you've probably already figured out what the object is!

oh man, I can't wait for the next episode of Grey's. I'm feeling that Meridith will come back but someone else might kick it...

Grey's is so Television crack, I love it! I know Meredith has to come back, she's the main character so as annoying as she can be, she will live. I really want to see more Denny though!!!!!!
