I do have a Harry Potter Deathly Hallows write up of sorts coming soon, I've just not had time to finish it yet, but one's partially done now :)

I've had a surprisingly busy week and just realized that for the rest of the summer much of my weekend time is booked. It should be fun but hectic for the next little while.

Monday this week I had a Harry Potter related illness, no really, I read myself into a migraine, oops. It's the crying while I read that did it, darn emotional story!

I was over at Jo's place on Tuesday helping her to trek books to second hand shops (and by helping I mean that I was there for company) and I found lots of fun books along the way (Serenity novelization, Finding Serenity, Farscape Forever and a handfull more but those were the highlights) then I got to go through Jo's books that didn't sell and went home with far too many books. However I have some darn shiny readnig material for the next little while. I've lost track of how many books I've read this year already, oops.

I also need to start planning a NYC trip soon, solidifying dates I'll be there and such. *YAY* vacation!

Lost track of how many books you've read -- that's a *good* thing. :-)

Well it is a good thing, also a little not so good because I wanted to read 100 books this year and to do that means I should be keeping track, Oh well, maybe next year I'll buy one of those book journals and give it another go :)

Remember, it's the quality, not the quantity.

Okay, not really -- I have the most fun with the junkiest books. :-)

LOL it's true, sometimes terrible books can be entertaining, I totally allow myself a few of those. I figure as long as I'm reading some good stuff it'll balance out the trashy books :)

Actually, I still want good writing, characterization and plotting -- but I don't need some kind of deep, serious theme or world-shaking events. A light adventure or romantic comedy is perfectly fine with me.

Come to think of it, I loved "The Da Vinci Code", so I guess I'm okay with bad writing and poor characterization. :-)
