Oh my god, I just read through the posts in the Wicked LJ community and what drama there is today. Someone insinuated that Idina was a bitch at the stagedoor to her fans, not the best thing to do, especially as it's TOTALLY untrue. I had to throw my 2 cents in cuz I've met her once and she was nothing short of amazing to me, even took a picture with me when she was in a huge rush and had people in town visiting her. *sigh* the things people find to post about. There was reference to that birthday fiasco that happened for her... it was bigger than I thought it was, apparently 100 girls or something, that's a little intense. I don't know what fanlist that was planned on but apparently I missed the memo lol.

In other news, Ava you have a little something going into the mail today, hopefully you'll have it by the beginning of next week :)

The heatwave is supposed to break tonight, this is good, I don't deal well with a lot of heat. So far it's not been too bad though, this is good. I'm still going to be stealing my parents fan that they have for the living room by July I'm sure. It's huge! I love to be able to sleep under some form of sheets or blankets even in the summer so to do that the room needs cold air, hence fans.

Okay time for work, I'm back to my regular schedual after two days of switching around, next week hopefully I get to start an hour later cuz we're going to be open later, more sleep for me :D

Oh Elizabeth, you should not have told me people were calling Idina a bitch. Now I must go put the smackdown on them! Why oh why are people mean to her? Idina is seriously the sweetest actress (& one of the sweetest people in general) I've ever met. If they are using the birthday fiasco (which was planned on one of the new Idina Yahoogroups... I knew about it, but was staying far far away from that one) as a reference point... how do they expect her to react when 100 strangers show up with balloons & cake & start singing to her? I mean, really now. She's not Kristin Chenoweth... she's not outgoing & "Love me love me!" like Kristin. Grrr, it just makes me so mad when people say mean things about her.

On another note... a present? For me? Teehee, thanks! I can't wait to see what it is :)

Yeah, Kristin and Idina have two different approaches when it comes to fans. How quickly the Kristin fans forget who it was who came out the stage door ALL winter and during the rain etc while Kristin didn't do the fan thing at all. She does sound super sweet now, but from the sounds of it she's more about the attention than Idina is.

My experience with Idina (and I've only met her once so I don't have the references that you do) was amazing. Yes she was in a HUGE hurry, but she had visitors, real people, much more important than fans. Yet she still signed tons of stuff on her way out and gave you a hug and took a picture with me.

I heart Idina, she's fabulous!

and the birthday thing just sounds scary, I wouldn't want 100, 15 year old girls showing up at my work to sing happy birthday to me lol scary
