Happy late Easter to anyone who celebrated today... and happy day of chocolate to everyone else :) Also, thanks to you all who wished me good health yesterday! You're all so sweet. I got better just about as fast as I felt sick, it was the strangest thing, but as long as I'm feeling good I won't question why :)

I managed to rest today while getting some quick errands done, doing dishes, making all of the bases for my BtVS season 6 icon batch and prepping some work on that art meme that I have posted. I have to make the Buffy icons first because I'm getting to the end of that project and keep delaying lol But art is being thought of :)

Nomi got back from her Easter holiday weekend tonight and arrived just in time to watch the last half of Easter Parade with me so I had someone to ooh and ahh over the pretty costumes and the singing and the dancing with. I realize that I miss watching movies like this. I used to watch them all of the time when I was a kid. Fancy that my mother actually had me watch something I enjoyed! I'm going to have to invest in buying a lot of the classics eventually. I'm so glad they're being put out on DVD more and more. I just hope the younger generations are getting to see them as well.

Nomi also played Easter Bunny and I got to eat some yummy Laura Secord chocolate creme egg. Sooooo good! Those things are crazy rich but so tasty!

Time for sleeping soon. I keep managing to bury myself under my pillows and duvet every night (well at least for these past two nights) so that when I wake up I feel like I have a wall of pillows and duvet rising above me. Very odd, can't figure out what in the world I'm doing in my sleep to accomplish this.

Today someone at the BBC called me an American. Gah! I finally gave up searching for 'The Secret World of Polly Flint' on my own and emailed them and they said it wasn't their series and since I'd seen it in "AMERICA" I should contact television stations there. Ummm I said Canada quite plainly in my email. I could narrow it to two possible Canadian stations for them but since it was a freaking BBC mini series neither the CBC or TVO could really be of much assistance. The BBC will be getting a snarky email back from me.

In yummy chocolate news I bought one of the Laura Secord eggs but they were all out of the butter cream ones so I went for the fancy cashew chocolate one and it is insanely good.

Oh and I picked up a copy of Angels and Demons today (the book before The DaVinci Code) and I'm wondering which of those two I should read first? My dad's getting me The DaVinci Code for my birthday and I have two books on the go right now so I won't be able to start a new one before my bday.... so anyone whose read both of them? Opinions? No spoilers please :)

I crossed a big item off of my things to do before I'm 25 list today, cut it right down to the wire, but I'm feeling quite impressed with myself today.

Today I saw 'Thank You For Smoking' which was highly amusing. Also it didn't make me want to smoke which was my only concern going into it, so it gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up :)

Then my brother and I went to Vortex. Totally his idea since I am trying to save a lot of money before I move out... but they had Xfiles season 3 for 36.99 and I totally caved for that. I am such a geek, but that's like a third of the price they usually charge in stores so I am a pleased geek.

We walked home from the subway and the weather is just about perfect for walking right now, not too warm yet :) If I'm sunburned again tomorrow I shall scream though lol. I think that I must invest in some very high SPF sunscreen in the next little while. I have the highly sensitive skin of a redhead and I didn't get the awesome hair.

Oh and I played the Easter Bunny last night and put out a bowl of candy because my mom didn't sound like she was into it this year. But she did come through with a Cadbury cream egg and a pack of smarties eggs for my brother and I. And then, after she'd gone on and on about how she didn't want to eat much candy this year yadda yadda yadda she totally ate the bowl that I put out!

Lastly I watched the second episode of Big Love today. Holy Veronica Mars cast alumni going on. Mac, Lilly and Beaver (Tina, Amanda and Kyle)! Is HBO just stealing these people away now? ;) I'm liking the stories that are getting set up on the show so far :) I have episodes 3, 4 and 5 waiting for me and then I'll be all caught up (I think.)
